A condition that causes pain around the outer part of the elbow, caused by overuse of the muscles and tendons of the forearm.
Common Symptoms
- Pain or burning on the outer part of your elbow
- Weak grip strength
- Pain that worsens with forearm activity, such as holding a racquet or turning a wrench
Potential Causes
- Repetitive gripping activities
- Activities involving the use of the forearm muscles in a repetitive way
- Playing tennis or other racquet sports with poor technique
